The doctoral winner will be flown to Australia to compete in the Asia/Pacific Competition at the University of Queensland, Brisbane on Friday 29 September 2017.

The masters winner will participate in the national 3MT® Masters Inter-University Challenge, against candidates from Otago, Canterbury, Lincoln, Waikato, Massey, AUT and Victoria University (Wellington). The competition will be hosted by Victoria University in Wellington on Thursday, 24 August 2017.

“The 3MT competition gives your research a fresh outside perspective, great media coverage and positive feedback – if you’re excited about your research, why not share it with the world?” – Sobia Mughal, MCom student and 2016 University of Auckland 3MT winner
