Reiko has a part time appointment at Auckland and is Professor at Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo. She originally came to the University of Auckland in 1997. She has taught at State University of New York at Stony Brook and The Ohio State University and had visiting positions at Osaka Univeristy and Tel Aviv University.
