Admission and enrolment
Applying for a postgraduate or masters programme is a two-part process. You complete both parts concurrently.
Follow these steps to apply to the Graduate School of Enterprise for a postgraduate or masters programme.
Firstly, you need to apply to enter the University. Students new to the University can do this by visiting Student Services Online. Existing students should apply to change their programme on Student Services Online.
The University will send you an acknowledgement email within two working days. This will include a checklist of required documents.
For this second part of the application, you apply to enter a programme. You will be required to upload a portfolio on Student Services Online consisting of three things:
- Curriculum Vitae.
- A personal statement.
- Two letters of recommendation.
Personal statement
To better assess your abilities in our selection process we would like to know more about you as a person. Please write a personal statement of about 500 words (double spaced) explaining your decision to pursue study at postgraduate level.
Letters of recommendation
The letters of recommendation should be completed using the Recommendation Form, or, if you prefer, your recommenders can send the completed Recommendation forms direct by scanning and emailing to gse@auckland.ac.nz.
Once you have uploaded your portfolio, we will evaluate your whole application. If you are successful we will invite you to an interview to assess your ability to succeed in the programme. You enrol in your courses once you have been accepted into the programme.
