New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants
Pathways to meet the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) are available through the BCom and BBIM programmes. Typical options for structuring your programme include:
- BCom or BBIM* (3 years) + GradDipCom (1 year)
- BCom or BBIM* (3 years) + BCom(Hons) (1 year)
- BCom conjoint degrees (4 or 5 years)
- BCom or BBIM* (3 years) + PGDipCom (1 year)
- BCom or BBIM* (3 years) + MCom (2 years)
*Note: Four additional courses are required.
Students who are in the processing of meeting academic requirements pre 1 January 2010 can find more information about transitional arrangements on the NZICA website.
CPA Australia
The Business School’s undergraduate degrees are also accredited by CPA Australia. It is possible to structure your programme to complete the academic requirements within a three-year BCom and by taking a small set of additional courses following the completion of the BBIM degree.
