Bachelor of Property

The Bachelor of Property (BProp) fulfils the academic requirements for membership of a number of professional bodies in New Zealand as well as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (UK) and is the only undergraduate degree offered by the department.

Property major requirements

A major is the main subject area that you choose to study in your degree. You will study courses to Stage III level in this subject.

Property as a double major

Studying for a double major is strongly recommended. It enables you to combine two sets of courses at advanced level and gain a broader base of skills and knowledge. A double major will enhance your flexibility in terms of prospective career options.

Conjoint degrees

If you're interested in a major offered by the Business School, but you also want to study for a degree in another faculty, you should consider a conjoint degree. This lets you study for two degrees at the same time.
