Group objectives
The Family Business Research Group (FBRG) is a group of researchers focused on understanding the intricacies and challenges that surround family businesses.
We are:
- Studying the variables that influence the behaviour and performance of family businesses in New Zealand.
- Interested in studying international research and international family centres to see what is relevant to the New Zealand context.
Our specific aims are to:
- Conduct academic and contracted research on entrepreneurial family businesses.
- Create links with other academic organisations that are interested in researching and teaching in the area of family business.
- Build dialogue with other organisations working with family businesses through seminars and publications.
