About us
The Champions Trophy is a case competition held at The University of Auckland Business School featuring winners from international case competitions, as well as consistent performing universities in these competitions.
The inaugural Champions Trophy was held in 2008. The event sees teams from 12 internationally-renowned universities being asked to read a business case, identify key issues, develop a strategy and prepare a presentation, all in the space of five hours. The teams then present their plan to a panel of industry experts.
In 2011 the University of British Columbia achieved first place. The finalists were Maastricht University, University of Washington and Singapore Management University.
The next Champions Trophy competition will once again be held in The University of Auckland Business School, from 29 January to 5 February 2012.
