Business School
Facilities and resources
Covering over 34,000 square metres, the Owen G Glenn Building is New Zealand's largest teaching space and home to staff and students of The University of Auckland Business School.
The Business School's state-of-the-art Owen G Glenn Building gives staff and students an integrated, purpose-built structure. It houses fully-equipped lecture theatres, computer labs, work rooms and social spaces, along with cafés and an on-site bank, clustered around a spectacular 26m-high atrium. Disabled access and facilities are throughout the building.
Completed in 2008, the iconic building stands as a place of convergence for business, academia and government — a collaborative, knowledge-rich environment within which to forge the capabilities that this country needs to succeed in sophisticated global markets.
The Business School building is named after the major donor and New Zealand entrepreneur and benefactor Owen G Glenn.
The main teaching facilities are located on Level 0 and include:
- Two 600-seat lecture theatres (Fisher and Paykel Auditorium).
- Two 300-seat lecture theatres.
- One 150-seat lecture theatre.

- Eleven computer labs each seating 31.
Additional teaching and study spaces are on Level 2 for postgraduate students and Level 3 for students completing programmes designed for executives and managers. The Business School's Short Course programmes are normally delivered on Levels 2 and 3.
