The Mira Szászy Research Centre for Māori and Pacific Economic Development

The Mira Szászy Research Centre was established by The University of Auckland Business School in 1998 in honour of the late Dame Mira's achievements.

It is New Zealand's first dedicated Māori and Pacific research facility in business and economics, and exists to enhance the quality of life for Māori, Pacific and other indigenous peoples, their communities, small-to-medium enterprises, and nations.

Ngā Pae O Te Māramatanga – Māori Centre of Research Excellence

Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga is one of eight Centres of Research Excellence (CoRE) funded by the New Zealand Government. Its task is to conduct excellent research which addresses needs and seizes upon opportunities arising in Māori communities.
