Graduate and postgraduate study
We encourage our undergraduate students to take a longer term view when planning their undergraduate studies. Options to undertake further study include graduate and postgraduate programmes.
All top performing second and third-year BCom, BBIM and BProp students are encouraged to give serious consideration to continuing their studies at the graduate and postgraduate level. Opportunities currently include:
Graduate Diploma in Commerce (GradDipCom)
BCom, BBIM and BProp graduates can supplement their first degree through further study of advanced undergraduate courses and add further breadth to their set of credentials by completing the Graduate Diploma in Commerce (GradDipCom).

Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Innovation (GradCertInnovEnt) and Entrepreneurship (GradDipInnovEnt)
Recent science, engineering, creative arts and industries graduates who are interested in adding knowledge and skills in innovation and entrepreneurship to their technical capabilities can complete the GradCertInnovEnt and GradDipInnovEnt.

Postgraduate study offers you the following benefits:
- The additional years of research-based study provide you with an opportunity to develop a greater range of analytical skills that will be of benefit in the global workplace.
- You will benefit from the opportunities provided to participate as a tutor or research assistant in your department.
- If you are successful you will have the opportunity to apply to continue your research at PhD level.
