Postgraduate programmes
The Business School offers a number of different postgraduate qualifications involving course work or research.
The ones outlined here are primarily research and are administered by the Postgraduate Office.
If you are not eligible for postgraduate study you may be able to undertake a bridging programme to help you qualify for entry.
The BCom(Hons), PGDipCom, MCom and PhD are offered in a range of disciplines. Please check the individual programme details.
The BCom(Hons) degree is designed to attract high-achieving students into postgraduate level study and research.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce provides for students who wish to obtain a postgraduate coursework qualification.
The MCom degree enables the best students to pursue independent research and is designed to prepare them for specialist positions.
The MintBus is a specialist applied postgraduate programme featuring both classroom and experiential learning components.
The MTaxS is designed for law and commerce graduates who intend to make tax advocacy or tax consulting their career.
The BProp(Hons) degree attracts the highest level of students wishing to pursue learning and research in property at the postgraduate level.
The PGDipProp provides for students who wish to obtain a postgraduate coursework qualification, or continue to the MProp.
The Master of Property (240 points) is a two year programme. The first year comprises course work, the second comprises a research thesis.
The Doctor of Philosophy is an advanced degree awarded for research in one’s discipline, with findings published in a thesis.
The PGDipBus is designed as the gateway to the MBA and Master of Management programmes.
The PGCertCE is designed to gain the knowledge and skills required to commercialise, research and innovate.
The MCE is designed to provide the core knowledge and skills needed to commercialise and market new products, services and processes.
