- Gives you the freedom to major in either Accounting or Marketing, combining that with a major in Information Management.
- Learn the latest in information management, e-commerce, emerging technologies, research and information retrieval skills.
- Develop effective oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, project management and team working abilities.
- The Business School is accredited by a number of professional bodies, including efmd EQUIS, AACSB International, NZICA and CPA Australia.
First year
- Two courses in Business introducing you to the types of choices facing entrepreneurs and managers and focusing on the development of professional skills.
- Courses in a number of topics including Business, Accounting Information, Information Systems and Business Law.
Second year and beyond
- Combine the study of a major in Information Management with a second major in either Accounting or Marketing.
- Study two courses in Project Management and Communications.
- Be invited to join the BCom(Hons) programme if your results have been consistently strong.
Final year applied project
In your final year you will complete a challenging team-based capstone project. The outputs will provide you with a portfolio of work that you can use to demonstrate and showcase your skills to potential employers.
BBIM majors
You can choose from either Accounting or Marketing to combine with a major in Information Management.
