PhD quantitative research study group

PhD candidates Qian Liu (GSM) and Dana Cumin (MIB) have started a quantitative study group for the social sciences in 2016. This group initially started with a meeting of students from MIB, Marketing and ISOM to discuss various topics regarding quantitative research. The group now also includes students from Economics and Accounting and Finance.

Seminars are held bi-monthly and a variety of topics will be covered. Lecturers with expertise in quantitative research methodology have participated and the group will continue to invite other lecturers who express interest in taking part in these workshops. Students will also have an opportunity to present their work for feedback, discuss papers, and ask questions in general concerning quantitative research.  

There has been overwhelming support from lecturers and students, and PhD candidate Sarah Sabbaghan (ISOM) has started a Facebook group to share ideas and documents.
