    On 26 July, CSCM hosted a field visit to Pernod Ricard Ltd at their Glen Innes winery and bottling facility in Auckland. Pernod Ricard was founded in France in 1805, born from from Pernod Fils, which initially produced absinthe.
  • Auckland Airport rises to meet future challenges

    On 1 August, CSCM hosted a very enjoyable and interesting evening, which was attended by more than 50 people. Keynote speaker Adrian Littlewood, CEO of Auckland Airport, gave a very informative presentation, followed by a Q&A session, with drinks and nibbles afterwards.

  • Food loss and waste in China

    Food is lost or wasted throughout the supply chain, from initial agricultural production stage down to final consumption stage. Yearly global food loss and waste (FLW) is estimated at roughly 30% of cereals, 40-50% of root crops, fruits and vegetables, 20% of oilseeds, meat and dairy products, and 35% of fish, which amounts to about 1.3 billion tons (FAO, 2011, 2015).
