About the 2017 AAPBS Annual Meeting

Information on the 2017 Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) Annual Meeting.

The University of Auckland Business School is honoured to host the 2017 Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools Annual Meeting on 20-21 November. With the theme of “wayfinding leadership” the meeting will foster in-depth discussion on the development of leadership within schools of business.

Wayfinding draws from the wisdom of traditional Polynesian navigators to develop the skills and behaviours needed by effective modern leaders. We look forward to sharing insights from the indigenous culture of New Zealand and its Pacific neighbours to provide a new perspective on the challenges of both leading and developing leaders in business schools.

We welcome deans, directors and professionals from AAPBS member schools and our global network of over 150 partners to gather in Auckland to share this journey with us and exchange views while promoting cooperation between business educators in Asia-Pacific Region and other countries.

The Business School is one of Asia-Pacific’s foremost research-led business schools with a reputation for innovative thinking underpinned by internationally benchmarked expertise. The school delivers high-impact teaching and research in topics that enhance the productivity, growth and global competitiveness of New Zealand’s commercial enterprises.

Programme information, speaker details and pre-arrival information will be added soon.
