Degree-specific entry requirements

The minimum entry requirements for international students to Business School programmes, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Property (BProp), BCom conjoints and BProp conjoints are described below.

All international applicants with National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3, University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) (taken in New Zealand) or International Baccalaureate qualifications will be given a rank score. If you meet the University Entrance Standard, the rank score and other requirements for your programme(s), you will be offered a place.

There are different requirements for our business programmes according to the following categories:

  • School leaver entry requirements for guaranteed admission for international students from New Zealand secondary schools.
  • University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies - Academic Colleges Group.
  • Taylors Auckland Foundation Year.
  • Fiji – Form 7 (aggregate 5 subjects).
  • GCE "A" levels or STPM.
  • Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (Year 12).
  • USA High School Diploma - SAT or ACT.
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
